Hailey McLain
Stroke School & Junior Bronze
Coach Hailey started playing water polo at age 11. She played for two years before joining a conditioning swim team where she fell in love with swimming. She swam varsity all four years at Vista Murrieta High School and started coaching by helping the conditioning team with the younger swimmers. In 2016 she started at TMEC with their stroke school program as an in water coach and eventually took over stroke school, pre-comp, and fitness. In 2019 she moved to San Marcos to work on her Bachelor’s Degree in literature and writing and coached as a swim instructor in Carlsbad. Here she became one of the lead instructors, and would teach swim lessons and train new instructors in the program.
Hailey moved back to Temecula in 2023, and joined back on the coaching staff of TMEC. Hailey loves working with swimmers of all ages on their technique and watching how swimmers progress. Hailey is currently working on her masters in teaching, And in her free time, she loves working out, rollerskating, or going to the beach!
